Our vision is to build a food forest movement in the arid mountain west by starting with a mutual-aid network of demonstration sites, events, and resources in the Taos area.
Our mission is to create and expand food forests and similar polycultures as a means of building resilient food sources and ecosystem health.
How we work
We study both tradition and innovation to find biologically and culturally appropriate growing systems.
We use free or nominal-fee education, facilitation, research, and community collaboration to nurture interested growers, volunteers, and informed-and-experienced stewards, designers, and facilitators.
We help maintain access to natural and material resources.
