Why did I opt out of public school? Some good teachers worked there. There were nice people in my classes. I enjoyed learning...oh, that was it! Let's face it - the public school system was not designed for learning (at least for too many of us). Check this article out. I know I'm not alone in feeling a little wasted - sitting for so many of my formative years, regurgitating trivia, in straight rows under fluorescent lights.
